Audrey Michelle, Valentines Day 2010 Lady in The Spotlight
Crawford and Dienst’s 2010 Valentine’s Day Lady in The Spotlight is a mom, writer, spoken word artist, and model. Her name is Audrey Michelle. Audrey Michelle moves her fans with inspiring love lyrics and earthy sensual poetry. This is Audrey Michelle’s 2nd appearance in the spotlight. In this interview, Audrey shares a glimpse into her inspired world.
Oscar: Audrey, you are a talented professional in multiple venues. What drives you to all this achievement?
Audrey: An innate strength that came upon me at the weakest point of my life. It is a powerful force proven to exist only by the successes it has brought. I am driven to feel strong and not just to be so.
Oscar: Who and what are your inspirations? What keeps you going?
Audrey: My inspirations for writing and life are my emotions and my unyielding belief in fate.
Oscar: What are the notions you have generally about people as you engage your work?
What are you seeing as the opportunities and challenges of humanity?
Audrey: I believe in the basic goodness of all humanity, viewing others as innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
As all others, I am labeled and judged on a constant basis. I have fought and fight constantly to rid myself of the doubts that the opinions of others have forced upon me. In doing so I constantly reach levels of success I never imagined as possible. It seems to have become my goal in life to use my own experiences and struggle to instill that belief in others.
No matter how much I desire to “save” the world there is only so much one person can do. I can reach high above my assumed potential by living for each day and setting small and therefore obtainable goals. Otherwise, I would be too overwhelmed to accomplish anything.
Therefore, my limitation is the same as that of any other, human capacity.
Oscar: Audrey, you are a successful model, writer, spoken word artist, activist and advocate for hurting women, and a mom. What is the Audrey Michelle Empire building? What are you working on accomplishing over the next 2, 5, or 1o years?
Five years ago I never imagined myself to be an Artist. I lacked any realization that I possessed the talent of expression through word usage. Four years ago I didn’t know what a Spoken Word Artist was. Three years ago I lacked the confidence to assume that I could model.
Seven years ago I never knew with any certainty that I would become a mother.
I have become what my instinct has molded me to be. I will continue to follow that instinct and in 2, 5 or 10 years I will be whatever it molds me to become.
Oscar: You’re so busy. What does Audrey do to chill?
Audrey: I don’t believe I am ever fully relaxed. I have so much to accomplish and I want to devour the goals I have as well as the those that constantly emerge. I want to learn and become further educated every second of the day. I hope that one day I will reach some level of contentedness so that I can take a breath and taste truly fresh air. If I never relax again, I wasn’t intended to.
Oscar: What’s next?
Audrey: Who knows?
Thank You, Audrey for being Crawford and Dienst’s Valentine’s Day 2010 Lady in The Spotlight. We wish you continued good success.
